Recioto di Soave D.O.C.G.
The name “Arzimo” comes from the local dialect and means “the best bunch” of semi-dried Garganega grapes.
This is our version of a top-quality, traditional-style sweet wine. A rich yellow gold in color, it offers aristocratic perfumes of honey, vanilla and candied fruits, along with the typical touch of complexity contributed by noble rot. It is rounded and velvety in texture, with great elegance and excellent length. A delicious match for desserts or blue cheeses, or just for enjoying on its own.

The 2016 Recioto di Soave Arzimo is a deep golden color with a seductive bouquet that mixes dried apricots and pears with roasted almond and a hint of vanilla bean. There are depths of glycerol textures here, perfectly contrasted by bright acids, candied citrus and a sweet-and-sour mix of stone fruits. The Arzimo finishes fresh on tropical tones, with hints of mango and papaya tapering off to honeyed inner florals.

Right yellow amber, dense and compact. The fragrant kit offers suggestions ranging from barley candy, date, candied citron and dried apricot. It then moves towards the sweet notes of sponge cake, nougat and crunchy almonds, all wrapped in balsamic nuances. Seductive the sip with extreme balance. It wraps the palate almost like liquid velvet, where the sweetness is diluted by vivid freshness. The finish is spread on notes of caramel and honey. The vinification takes place in wood.

Bright amber yellow. Very deep aromas of apple pie, caramel, and cinnamon. Then fresher and lighter but with a bitter twinge to the flavors of orchard fruit and honey. Finishes long and tactile with a peppery kick. Strikes me as by far the best wine tasted from La CAPPUCCINA this year.
