Bright straw with a rich, creamy foam. It suggests fragrances of yellow flowers, wisteria, citrus, well punctuated by mineral tones, almost sulphurous, and a reminder of crusty bread in the background. Palate of a larger development, deep, perfectly integrated acidity enhanced by a soothing bubble; tasty, pleasantly citrus memories, rests on a beautiful minerality that signs the final. The bottles “sur lattes” resting for 24 months before disgorging. - Gambero Rosso – 2 bicchieri

A nice review for VILLA BURI LT Brut Vintage 2008 in The Wine Enthusiat by Monica Larner. ” This is a very unusual Italian sparkler made from the Garganega grape that is usually used to make the fresh and crisp wines of Soave. In this case, the wine’s lively perlage makes for a soft and creamy mouthfeel backed by peach and lemon mousse. The fruit is organic.”
